COLLEGE FOOTBALL WEEK 10

The college football season is winding down now and the BCS is starting to shape up a bit.
As more of a fan of college football, than a bettor these days, it's a little hard for me to view these contests in a non straight-up context, but for wagering purposes the spread has to be taken into account.
Florida State minus 4, at Maryland, intrigues me. Florida State, a team that is usually a sure bet except against other Florida based teams, is 4-3, and ranked around #52.
I don't want to diss Maryland, but even at home, plus 4 points, and having beaten the common opponent North Carolina State, whereas Florida State bowed to them, I'd have to go with State on this one.
Rutgers continues to impress and they looked pretty tough last Saturday against a stubborn Pitt team. This week they're at home against Connecticut, who is plus 19.
The team has covered the spread in all but one game this season, against South Florida, which I predicted would be a toss up.
This is one of the few times in decades that Rutgers has a shot not only at a Bowl game, but a major bowl game at that. Can you say BCS?
I may be dreaming, but Rutgers actually has a shot at playing for the top spot. If they run the table, and that means knocking off highly ranked conference rivals West Virginia and Louisville, who else has played a schedule that's any tougher, other than Ohio State and Southern Cal?
I have to feel that The Scarlet Knights are going to pour it on and take this one by 3 touchdowns.

Have fun and good luck!
