Well, it was a freaky end to a freaky college football season.

For the third time this season both the number 1 and 2 teams lost further confusing an already hazy quest for the National Championship.

I went an abysmal 0-3-1, ending the regular season with an embarrassing 20-30-2 record. However, this season was nuts and most amateur handicappers didn't fare much better.

From a non-betting standpoint, that is, picking winners without point spreads applied, I did OK, so I can still pick winning teams. The trick though would be to find someone willing to bet straight up.

Anyway I was right about there not being an undefeated team in the championship game and Arizona State was a Cinderella team as I predicted, having gone 10-2, and missing a BCS bowl by one position.

Next up is the college bowl season with a whopping 32 games to watch.
