College Football Bowl Game Overview Part 3

College Football Bowl Game Overview Part 3

Source:www.gadgetell.com

The first wave of college football bowl games is history, and I went 4-3, so at least we're off on a positive note.

Starting tonight the games are coming at you fast and furious with at least one game per day through the end of the year.

Next up are the big bowls, the BCS Bowls, the bowls that used to be the only ones on the table, before everyone got into the act and put the rest of the dishes on the table.

Anyway, the more games the better as far as I'm concerned.

Bowl game opponents are supposed to be very evenly matched, and although many bowl games are close, there are plenty of blowouts, such as last year's Championship game, in which Florida throttled Ohio State 41-14.

Here's the last of the 2007 college season bowl games and my hunches:

Jan. 1 Outback Bowl, Wisconsin vs. Tennessee

Tennessee -3

Jan. 1 Cotton Bowl, Missouri (11-2) vs. Arkansas

Missouri -4

Jan. 1 Capital One Bowl, Fla., Michigan vs. Florida

Florida -11

Jan. 1 Gator Bowl, Virginia vs. Texas Tech

Virginia +6

Jan. 1 Rose Bowl, USC vs. Illinois

USC -14

Jan. 1 Sugar Bowl, Hawaii vs. Georgia

Hawaii +8

Jan. 2 Fiesta Bowl, West Virginia vs. Oklahoma

West Virginia +8

Jan. 3 Orange Bowl, Kansas vs. Virginia Tech

Virginia Tech -4

Jan. 5 International Bowl, Rutgers vs. Ball State

Rutgers -10

Jan. 6 GMAC Bowl, Tulsa vs. Bowling Green

Tulsa -5

Jan. 7 BCS National Championship, Ohio State vs. LSU

LSU -5

Check out the BCS Bowl game odds which are subject to change.

Have fun and good luck!
