Week 1 of the college football season is history and there were very few surprises.
The only game in this young season that could be considered an upset, although a mild one in my book, was the Miami-Florida State game.
The odds makers blew it, but football is an emotional game, and when you have an intense rivalry such as this anything can happen.
These early season college football games are hard to bet because the pre-season rankings are based on the team's prior year performance, and unlike the pros, there are more player changes and essentially it's an entirely different team.

If you're a football "parlay" bettor, here's an article in the "Las Vegas Sun" with advice on how to get more bang for your betting buck.
Good luck!
