College Football 2008 Week 8
Another weekend and another number 1 team gets knocked off. I said last week that I had a bad feeling about the Oklahoma – Texas game; but I took it anyway.
About the only thing that's predictable about that classic annual match up is that it will be a high scoring affair.
Next season I'll try some over and unders, maybe as a separate bet pool. I'll think about it because these college games are getting so close it's almost impossible to find much of an edge these days.
Anyway, a dismal 2 and 6 performance with only Michigan State and Penn State coming through for me, but I'm still up a few games in the season won-lost total so I'm not giving up.
This weekend let's see how these work:
Oklahoma State, at home, minus 17, over Baylor
Penn State, at home, minus 23, over Michigan
LSU, away, minus 4, over South Carolina
BYU, away, minus 1, over TCU
Virginia Tech, away, plus 3, over Boston College
Georgia, at home, minus 15, over Vanderbilt
Michigan State, at home, plus 4, over Ohio State
Wisconsin, away, plus 4, over Iowa
