The college football season opens on Thursday, August 30 with Buffalo traveling to New Jersey to take on pre-season ranked #16, Rutgers, and their Junior running back, Heisman Trophy hopeful, Ray Rice.

OK, there are other games but I have to give Rutgers, last year's Cinderella team, in my home state of New Jersey, a plug.

It's no big surprise that for the 3rd time in 4 years Southern Cal is pre-season ranked #1 in all the polls.
