Of all the forms of gambling available to the public no game raises as many questions and myths as the slot machine.
I dare say that all the other card and dice games combined, even with their many variations, can't come close to the number of inquiries made of gambling experts as do slot machines.
Slot machine payout percentages, in Las Vegas casinos, or anywhere for that matter, are based on what appears to be mysterious formulas, but not really, as this article explains.
Meanwhile, there's a group of silly people, that would like to control what adult Americans do with their spare time and discretionary income, who are convinced that slot machines are evil things and out to get you.
If you think about it anything can be abused or become addictive; for me that would be pizza.
