Caribbean Stud Poker is another game that's rising in popularity.

These days it seems that every deck of cards is being used to play one type of poker or another.

For those of you interested in another of Poker's many variations here's a beginner's guide to Caribbean Stud Poker.

As you probably know there has been considerable talk in the United States Congress about banning online gambling, Poker, in particular.

I don't gamble online but I respect the rights of those who do. My feeling is that anything can be proclaimed dangerous and outlawed, even the consumption of excess amounts of strawberry-rhubarb pie, but only on Thursdays.

The question though is who makes these determinations and for what reason? As I see it the United States Congress' only concern is that they can't tax online gambling, whereas they can tax on a gambler's winnings in a physical casino. The idea that the congress' goal is the prevention of an addiction to it gambling is a pretext, IMHO.
