It's time to finally take a look at the interior of Las Vegas' Red rock National Preserve.
This video takes you to the first vantage point of the Calico Hills area where you can see a sweeping panorama of the red mountains for which the preserve is named, and also get a look as far as the eye can see in every direction.
Mountain climbing is allowed in this area, using conventional equipment to scale the sheer face of the mountain. There is also a trail that allows gamblers. Not all of Las Vegas' gamblers are in the casinos; some intrepid souls climb to the top without the use of equipment.
