Caesar's palace Hotel and Casino opened in 1966 and due to its swanky decor and immense size it quickly became the premier place to gamble on the Las Vegas Strip. Today, despite the proliferation of the mega-resorts Caesar's is still the destination of choice for many well-heeled gamblers.
