Betting On Sports In Las Vegas

Most Las Vegas gamblers play the slot machines, or Poker, or the other table games; but for the sports fan who is also a gambler Las Vegas is a paradise.

As the only State with legalized sports betting the Las Vegas' casinos sports books offer betting on nearly every sport in the world.

There's always something going on in the world of sports, and right now, the hot item is the NBA Championships where my Lakers are down 2-0 to the revitalized Celtics.

Meanwhile Harrah's, the giant Las Vegas gaming company, which has its paws on virtually everything, and is trying to reel in those that it doesn't, unwittingly dealt itself a bad hand.

Harrah's top dog, Gary Loveman, treated himself to 2.4 percent ownership of the Celtics last year. Because of that Harrah's casinos, under Nevada law, cannot accept bets on this year's Celtics - Lakers NBA Finals.
