There's every imaginable type of job available here in Las Vegas, some are ordinary, some are exotic, some pay well, some don't, some have many openings and some are held by just a select few.
The job of a Las Vegas showgirl falls pretty much in the middle of the above categories. Showgirls are somewhat exotic overall but somewhat common here in Vegas, the pay varies with the exclusivity of the venue, and some showgirl jobs are common, and others are pretty hard to get.
But the job does get one noticed, and for some, it can lead to much greater things, and because of that it is a highly sought occupation with plenty of competition.
