Las Vegas changes all the time. Some of these changes are subtle and barely noticeable and others are huge and mind boggling.
Along with these changes to the skyline, which these days is growing horizontally and to a much larger degree, vertically, come changes to the city's overall flavor or tone.
Right now the emphasis is on even bigger, more luxurious, more all inclusive casino properties.
While gambling still constitutes the major thrust of the business community, there is a huge effort being made to fashion each property into a mini resort. The idea being that the casino clientele can have all their needs fulfilled right on the property.
Because of this the newer properties are being designed with a "spa" concept where the customer can indulge in a relaxing soak in a hot tub, and then have a massage, without having to trek to another part of town.
More upscale restaurants and shops are being built adjacent to the casino and hotel complex as are nightclubs and entertainment venues.
But what is The Strip like right now in the midst of all this change?
Here's an excellent article written by a writer who recently took stroll down The Strip and has provided a report about what to expect in the casinos on The Las Vegas Strip.
