Everyone should attend a Native American Powwow and Las Vegas is a great place to do so.
This video shows you the Grand Entrance, the start, of one of the annual Powwows held in Las Vegas; it's something you'll never forget.
There are different types of Powwows but all of them feature dancing and Native American music. The majority of them sponsor different competitions, as do the ones in Las Vegas and many times there are storytellers and other performers.
Food stands offer authentic Native American dishes and my favorite, fry bread with honey, which I usually overdo. These events also offer opportunities to purchase hand made jewelry and arts and crafts at much lower cost than lesser quality copies available in traditional stores.
You can also buy chances, at a buck a piece, or less, for an opportunity to win some stunning jewelry worth many hundreds of dollars. The tribes conduct several of these raffles and the odds are low because they don't sell very many tickets per raffle.
I suppose raffles are available at all Powwows, but maybe only here in the King of gambling cities, Las Vegas.
