4000 NEW JOBS OPEN IN LAS VEGAS

Everything in Las Vegas is big and that includes the job scene.
People move to Las Vegas for a variety of reasons, love of hot weather, reasonably priced housing, at least compared to the really big cities such as New York and L.A., almost 365 days of golf, and of course the gambling.
When it comes to employment in Las Vegas though that situation changes constantly, and, truth be told it isn't as good as it was a decade ago. There are always lower paying and part time jobs, which is good for those looking for a start or someone with a pension who needs to supplement it a bit, but the better jobs are hard to come by.
Make no mistake about it, unless you have an in-demand skill, this is a town where you have to know someone with pull to get a decent job, especially if you're not experienced.
However, from time to time there are opportunities to get your foot in the door and that's what's happening right now at The Sands Corporation.
The company has started accepting employment applications, for 4000 openings at their latest property, The Palazzo, which is expected to open near the end of the year.
I certainly wouldn't recommend dropping everything to come here and apply for what you hope will be a dream casino job, but, if employment in Las Vegas is something you've been considering, this may be a good time to try for it.
